The Decorative Home & Salvage Show at Cirencester Park - 21-23 June 2024

ABOUT THIS FAIR:

After a successful launch in 2023, the Cirencester Park Decorative Home & Salvage Show returns to the Bathurst Estate, the ancestral home of 9th Earl Bathurst and Countess Bathurst and family, for three days this month – Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd, and Sunday 23rd June. This family-run boutique event, originating in the north of England over a decade ago, focuses on unique, affordable, well-made pieces for the home and garden. Visitors can explore a variety of items, including architectural and industrial salvage, decorative antiques, original furniture, period home fixtures and fittings, vintage treasures, garden furniture, and plants.

Beautifully styled stands in marquees, shopping arcades, and outdoor spaces offer a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The event is family-friendly, with on-site catering, a licensed bar, ample space to browse, and free parking. Supporting small independent businesses, the event promotes sustainable shopping choices. Prices range from 50p to £5,000, catering to every taste and budget. Last year’s celebrity guests included Richard E. Grant, who broadcast a rave review in an Instagram Live while he the Show, describing it as ‘the perfect place for snuffling out gubbins’, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, and This Country stars Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper. Organisers Arthur Swallow Fairs are expecting another bumper show this year.

Things to look out for at the Show
With everything from art and books to textiles and statues, you’ll notice themes running through the stock displayed at the show, with a common focus on flora and fauna. For horse, dog, bird, plant and flower lovers, there is always a wealth of interesting and conversation worthy items.
