Highland Antiques - A fine Victorian silver goblet engraved with two horses, decorative
swirls and a vacant cartouch. Made in London in 1848 by Edward John and William Barnard.
It is offered with a full set of hallmarks below the rim. There is gold gilding on the
inside which looks original. Dimensions:H: 15cm (5.9")Di: 9cm (3.5"). Priced at £995.

The Cotswolds Decorative, Antiques & Art Fair takes place from 11-13 August 2023 in the atmospheric setting of Westonbirt House, now a prestigious school, occupying the Great Hall, Orangery and adjoining rooms. Stylish antiques, superb paintings, decorative delights and all kinds of rare and unusual antique treasures will be shown on carefully curated displays from a selection of around 40 expert dealers with prices from less than £20 to more than £20,000. The event offers plenty of choice for interior designers and the seasoned and first-time collectors. In addition, there is a range of exquisite personal gifts including antique jewellery, watches, mid-20th century designer jewellery and accessories. Historic art of local interest include views of Tewkesbury Abbey, Goodrich Castle on the River Wye and the River Severn will be shown by local art dealer Derek Newman of Newman Fine Art, specialists in watercolour paintings from the 18th to 20th century. Featuring art and antiques specialists from across the UK, this popular summer fair is the place to buy everything including the most traditional antique pieces to the latest in decorative chic style. Says organiser Sue Ede: "This is where people come to decorate and furnish their homes in their own personal style. Mixing and matching antique and contemporary with Mid-Century accessories, fine art, sculpture and furniture from the past centuries. Our Cotswolds Fair has it all!" |
Andy Maule Antiques - Anatomical Model of the Human Eyeball made from plastic, wood,
papier mache and hand-blown glass this large, hand painted model dates from the mid-20th
century. Designed as a teaching aid it is incredibly detailed and can be taken apart to
show the working parts of the organ. It was made by Somso Modelle, Germany. Priced £575.

back to the art Deco era with its geometric design showcasing the ruby. Priced at £4,250.
A stunning antique Kazak rug, handwoven in the Caucasus mountains of central Asia circa 1900.
The design features 3 striking medallions on an indigo field and unusual gold border. Note the
interesting animal figures throughout the field. Size: 2.43m x 1.62m (8ft x 5ft 4in). Priced
at £4,900.
