ABOUT THIS FAIR: |
The Organisers of The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair haved announced that Tribal Art London, the UK’s premier event in the field of ethnographic culture and tribal art, will be holding it’s 2023 edition on the Mezzanine at Battersea during the Autumn Decorative Fair from 3-8 October. TAL brings together internationally-reputable specialist dealers in fine and original tribal works of art, drawn from all corners of the globe. The fair’s organiser Victoria Rogers took over the reins from founder Bryan Reeves (of Tribal Gathering) in 2020. TAL has previously taken place at Mall Galleries since 2017, typically hosting some 20 participants, having grown organically from its origins as a group gallery show in 2007. After a two-year hiatus during covid when it ran online, TAL returned to holding a live iteration last year. |

WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS FAIR: |
Welcoming this collaboration, The Decorative Fair Organiser Darren Hudson said “Tribal Art London will be an exciting new addition to The Decorative Fair and our Battersea venue. Whilst TAL has its own dedicated clientele of international collectors, tribal art has for many years also been admired and appreciated by the interior design community. We will enjoy the synergy between our two events.” Victoria Rogers adds: “Tribal Art London has always prided itself on being a close-knit community of dealers and experts, and we know the friendly atmosphere engendered at Battersea by the Decorative Fair and its exhibitors will suit us, as well as our clients. We feel sure our relocation there will mark the start of new phase in the development of our fair.” This year marks the 16th edition of Tribal Art London, and the 38th anniversary of The Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair. The Fairs will take place this Autumn at Evolution London, Battersea Park, London SW11 4NJ from Tuesday 3 to Sunday 8 October 2023. |
