The new Antique & Collectors Fair for Grandma’s Attic at Eastleigh proved to be a huge success on New Years Day!

The New Years Day fair, which for over 35 years had been held in Winchester on New Years Day, and on Bank Holiday Mondays through the year, and always been a hugely popular and well attended fair. But due to the unsuitability of the new Winchester Leisure Centre, organisers of the Grandma's Attic Fair made the decision to move the fair just under 8 miles down the road to the fantastic Places Leisure Centre at Eastleigh on the outskirts of Southampton.

The next fair at the venue is on Bank Holiday Monday 10 April & then on the August Bank Holiday Monday 28 August 2023.

The new leisure centre can hold up to 300 stalls in there Sports Hall, and has over 400 free parking spaces on site, and there is also free on-street parking adjacent to the venue.

The fair opened at 8.30am with over 100 people queuing, by 11am over 1000 people had been in and at close of business the fair had just over 1500 through the door.

There were many compliments from both stall holders & visitors, with some stallholders stating they had record takings.

The fair will be offering a good selection of quality antiques and collectables, including Art Deco, Mid Century Modern, art glass, Royal Worcester Porcelain, Whitefriars glass, Clarice Cliff, bronze figures, Moorcroft Pottery, postcards, stamps, coins, jewellery and much more from dealers across the country.

Open from 9.30am till 4pm admission £3.00 (early/trade entry 8.30am £4.00)
