ABOUT THIS FAIR: |
Heralding Spring in Bath, the celebrated Bath Decorative Antiques Fair returns to The Pavilion with a bevy of regular and debut exhibitors. Expect to see English, French and Nordic antiques and design – large painted cabinets, exquisite model chateaux, chateau furniture, imposing cast iron urns and benches for the garden and conservatory, huge farmhouse tables, rustic oak furniture, refined cosmopolitan furniture for the City dweller, library furniture for the essential home office, architectural elements, lighting, luxurious antique textiles and rugs from Asia and the Levant, folk art, mirrors, early glass and English and Continental pottery with a broad range of art from period portraits to Modern & Contemporary by renowned artists. Dealers in the decorative antiques trade have an innate decorator’s eye and know how to curate their stands to inspire visitors with ideas for their own space, both inside and out. Garden ornament for use in interior projects as well as landscaping, will be a key focus for many. On show will be crusty garden chairs and benches, huge olive jars, wirework tables, stone troughs, elegant jardinieres and planters and ironwork from exhibitors including Wharton Antiques, Linda North Antiques, Barrows Antiques, The Antique Gent, Elham Antiques, No 1 Lewes and Skye’s Place.
