ABOUT THIS FAIR: |
After searching for the perfect South West venue to host their popular three-day boutique shopping event, popular organisers Arthur Swallow Fairs are delighted to announce that the Decorative Home & Salvage Show is coming to Cirencester’s beautiful Bathurst Estate. Positioned in the heart of the Gloucestershire market town of Cirencester, the ancestral home of Lord Bathurst known as the ‘Capital of the Cotswolds’, Cirencester Park and Bathurst Estate is the home of the 9th Earl of Bathurst. Cirencester Park will sit alongside established events at Ripley Castle in North Yorkshire and Loseley Park in Surrey which form the group of Home & Salvage Shows, now approaching their 12th year. Just like these long running events, the new show will offer an excellent standard of stock from a hand-picked roster of exhibitors, from regulars to those new to the event. With many dealers coming from the north and east, the Show will offer local people the perfect opportunity to discover a wide range of stock for the home and garden which they otherwise might not find.

The Decorative Home & Salvage Show at Ripley Castle
WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS FAIR: |
These established events have proved popular for both the trade and private buyer, offering a wealth of salvage and industrial items, period home fixtures and fittings, decorative and architectural antiques, garden furniture and statuary alongside restored and up-cycled furniture, vintage treasures, beautiful one-off homewares, and plants. Salvage and re-purposed pieces are now very much in the spotlight, offering a sustainable and affordable choice for buyers to to support small, often family-run, independent businesses. With beautifully styled stands laid out in marquees, shopping arcades and outside stands spilling out onto the grass brocante-style, stylishly displayed stock is complimented by a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A wonderful day-out for all (children are very welcome), the event offers on-site catering, a licensed bar, plenty of space to browse and free parking. Quote: Richard Burgoin, Director of Events, "Securing this venue is an exciting step forward for us, especially as we know how strong the appetite in the South West is for good quality affordable salvage, antique and vintage stock. The Burgoin family, and indeed the whole ASFairs team, feel honoured that the 9th Earl of Bathurst has considered our event to be a great fit with the estate and surrounding area and we can’t wait to bring our fantastic dealers to Cirencester Park." |
