Solo Antiques from Lancashire will be returning to the fair for her 3rd visit and will have this Art Deco bronze figure
’Diana the Huntress’ made in France circa 1925 by artist Pierre Le Faguays. This will cost £3995. Solo Antiques will also
have a beautiful selection of Art Deco and Art Nouveau glass and other bronze and ivory sculpture.
ABOUT THIS FAIR: |
For 30 years Scone Palace has played host to a biannual antiques and fine art fair organised by Galloway Antiques Fairs. The fair has garndered a loyal following of regular dealers from Scotland and Down South who are really keen to get back to this historic Scottish venue. The stands are set out in all of the main state rooms at the palace including the dining room, drawing room, Library and Long Gallery. Visitors can also enjoy the lovely tearoom at Scone selling delicious homemade fare and also have a walk in the magnificent grounds and stop to have a look at The Stone of Scone on Moot Hill, The Crowning Place of Scottish Kings, including Macbeth, Robert the Bruce and Charles 11. All in all a very welcome return to the fairs calendar this year. |
Saul Greenstein of London will have this stunning 3ct fire opal and diamond ring in 18K white gold among
many other stunning items of jewellery to include bracelets, earrings, necklaces and much more.

Expect to find a broad range of items for sale to include antique furniture, silver, porcelain and pottery, oriental carpets and works of art, antique and contemporary paintings and bronze sculpture, Art Deco and Art Nouveau glass, antique and vintage jewellery and watches, clocks and much, much more with prices ranging from £50 - £30,000, of appeal to antiques enthusiasts, collectors and interior designers of all generations. Regular visitors to the fair will recognise many of the dealers who will be at the fair: Mark Buckley Antiques from Ilkley, North Yorkshire specialises in inlaid Victorian and Edwardian furniture, Rowles Fine Art of Shropshire deals in antique and contemporary paintings and contemporary bronze sculpture. Ian Walsh of Lancashire sells vintage watches which are bang on trend just now. John Briggs of Aberdeen will have a colourful display of carpets and rugs from around the world. Highland Antiques, also from Aberdeen, will have a stunning collection of antique silver. Local dealer Carse Antiques will have a selection of Scottish and Dutch antique furniture, clocks, porcelain and Wemyss pottery. Oriental dealer Fu T’sang Lung will have a selection of oriental antiques, paintings and objets D’art. E A Alvarino of Ayrshire will have a selection of small furniture, jewellery, porcelain and clocks. |
Graham Reed Fine Art of North Yorkshire will be bringing along this fine watercolour by Sam Bough RSA 1828 – 1878
depicting an army encampment at dusk. It measures 20 x 27 inches (framed dimensions). It is signed and dates 1874 and will
cost £3250. Although born south of the border, the third of 5 children, in Carlisle, he spent most of his life working in Scotland.

of a cock and hen pheasant. It carries import hallmarks for London 1929 by George Stockwell. It weighs 66 grams and will cost £895.
