With their regular popular Arley Hall Fair well established at nearby Northwich, Galloway’s Antiques Fairs' following of collectors and enthusiasts in the region will be keen to attend their next antiques and fine art fair to Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire, over the weekend of 8 - 10 October 2021 which will be held in The Tenants hall with 30 exhibitors attending. Local dealer Jo Bennett Originals who sells contemporary art by some of the country's leading artists will bring a signed oil on canvas Brooding Hills by Geoffrey Key, signed and dated 2015. Yorkshire dealer Mark Buckley will have a superb collection of Inlaid Edwardian and Victorian furniture together with fine paintings and works of art. A highlight will be a fine mahogany inlaid bijouerie table of oval design. In outstanding condition it has the more sought after bevelled glass top and glazed side panels with cream silk lined interior by Edwards & Roberts for £2995. Furniture and decorative dealer Malcolm Eglin Antiques from Northumberland will show furniture, paintings, glass and decorative items for sale including a very colletible cast iron French garden urn for £695. Scarab Antiques are specialists in fine jewellery jewellery and Decorative Arts and will bring a set of 6 liqueur glasses, introduced by Rene Lalique in 1924 and known as the Barr pattern. the round foot supports a flat stem in the middle of which is a frosted woman’s head beneath a tulip shaped bowl. The underside of the foot is signed R Lalique” and each glass has a round orange label embossed and signed with the words No 5009 bis Made in France. Priced at £1100. They will also have this extremely decorative Evo Belgian Art Deco chrome desk lamp for sale at £595. |

Oriental rugs by John B Briggs from Aberdeen, Victorian oil paintings by Keith Ellis Fine Art, oak country furniture by local dealers Melody Antiques of Chester. La Boheme with a selection of glass from Czechoslovakia, Martin’s Silver will have antique silver and Deco By Design will have a great range decorative items from the 1930’s onwards. Solo Antiques of Lancashire will have a fine selection of Art Deco , Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts pieces in glass and bronze including this Emile Galle cameo glass vase Mures (Blackberries) circa 1900 showing branches of blackberry fruits, thorns and leaves. Signed Galle in cameo to the side of the vase, it will cost £2350. Garret & Hurst of Sussex will have a large selection of antique and contemporary bronze figures , one of which will be this exceptional Standing Nude which stands at 51cm tall, made by Italian artist Ferdinand Vichi who exhibited between 1875 and 1945. |
