Antiques News & Fairs - Death of Terry Kelly - 8 Feb 1937- 10 July 2021

Terry Kelly 8th Feb 1937- 10th July 2021

The family of Terry Kelly, 8 Feb 1937- 10 July 2021 have announced that he has died after he lost his fight against cancer.

After training as a sculptor and painter Terry eventually decided to turn his long held interest in antiques into a business, opening up a shop in Burnham-on-Sea in the mid 1960's. In the early 70's, with his wife Marie, he stalled at the Guinea Lane Antiques Centre in Bath and later on at the Bath Antiques & Decorative Fair until 2020. He exhibited at other fairs, mainly in the West Country, and also Antiques for Everyone at the NEC. He was a well liked and respected member of the trade for over 55 years and will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Editor's Note:  I worked with Terry at many Bath and NEC events.  A true gentleman, dealer and something of an academic in his subject.  He will be very much missed in the trade and we send our condolences to Marie and the family.
