ABOUT THIS FAIR: |
Another lockdown means another online event from Arthur Swallow Fairs and they are braced to support the trade whilst retail is taking such a knock. Like last lockdown, their aim is to support the trade by keeping dealers visible and creating opportunities to sell. This event will be a weekend-long festive spectacular with lots of exciting LIVE Insta talks and tips for both buyers and sellers in the run up and during the event. The event will take place on Instagram and at asfairs.com - this means those without Instagram can still access the event, plus sellers get an additional platform. It's a win win. The folk at Arthur Swallow Fairs have an exciting and comprehensive exhibitor list comprising many dealers you’ll know from their ‘real’ and previous ‘virtual’ events, as well as many new to the roster; they’ve got everything covered, from iconic stone statues for your garden and stylish home furnishings to original art and gifts for the vintage lover. Exhibitors will be launched A-Z during the two days, punctuated by LIVE interviews and festive hype. A dealer teaser: Chris Holmes Antiques, Tallboy Interiors, West Wales Antiques, Retrovation, Nook Antiques, Chris Charles Reclamation, Cunningham Whites, John Read-Smith, Mews Emporium, Monkey & Bird, Paul Drewett Decorative, Brocante Decorative, Hand of Glory Antiques, Catherine Waters Antiques… |
Drew Pritchard a regular at the Decorative Home & Salvage Shows.
WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS FAIR: |
SAVE THE DATE and watch out for more info coming from Arthur Swallow Fairs online. Meanwhile, check out their launch LIVE on their IGTV over on Instagram with Drew Pritchard and Alice Roberton – it's 35-minutes of upbeat chat about last lockdown, how the trade has adapted, what’s happened since and what the online event has in store. You can sign up to their newsletter on the homepage at asfairs.com for all the latest news. Comment from organiser Alice Roberton: "The first lockdown brought about a need to help keep antique, vintage and salvage dealers visible and trading, something we did with great commitment. The first Insta event we hosted back on May 9th broke ground in the trade and was a huge success, a further event on May 30 was confirmation for many that selling online is a valuable asset – with the success of our on-the-ground summer events, we were delighted to discover that there is in fact room for both. At the point we launched our first event no one had ever hosted or taken part in an Insta event before and we were all on a steep learning curve – organisers and exhibitors alike – this time we know what we’re doing so we’re aiming for bigger and better. It’s very exciting indeed! Do join us to shop from an incredible range of independent businesses and support a trade which is part of our rich British heritage." |
Dealers Paul & Lucy Vintage will be taking part!
Remember online from 10am to 4pm both days on the 28 - 29 November!
