ABOUT THIS FAIR:

Opening the 2020 London fairs' season in style for the 8th occasion will be The Mayfair Antiques & Fine Art Fair at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square, London from Thursday 9 to Sunday 12 January 2020. Featuring some 40 exhibitors bringing an extraordinary variety of art and design, covering many centuries right up to the 21st century, attracting interior design professionals, collectors.

New exhibitor, Vivien Hilton of Moonstruck Experience in South Africa says "We need to make our antiques fairs interesting and different." In her pursuit of this idea, Vivien will have 'Pandora's Box' on her stand at The Mayfair Antiques & Fine Art Fair, in which will be a glass dome housing a jewelled box in which is hidden an unknown jewel of value.  She is asking people to leave a sealed bid for buying the unknown gem.  At around 12 noon on Sunday, Vivien and a member of The Antiques Dealers Fair Limited's team will open the envelopes and the highest bid will have bought the jewel.  Vivien will be donating 50% of the winning bid to Shalom Animal Rescue Centre, a small charity in Schweizer-Reneke in the north-west province of South Africa, which works to rescue and care for distressed animals.
