ABOUT THIS FAIR:

Bringing the busy London autumn season to a close The Winter Art & Antiques Fair, returns to Olympia London from Tuesday 5th until Sunday 10th November for the second year in its new format. Taking place on the Gallery Level of the National Hall, at the same time as The Spirit of Christmas Fair and for 2019 the Luxury Travel Fair, the fusion format of combining major attractions under one roof proved to a big success in November 2018 attracting thousands of visitors from the UK and beyond.

Capitalising on the central London location, the 70 premier dealers from across the UK use the fair as an opportunity to unveil their rarest and most recent finds to an enthusiastic audience of more than 20,000.  

Mary Claire Boyd, Fair Director told ANF: “We are very excited to open the doors of the 29th Winter Art & Antiques Fair Olympia. Our dealers have an unrivalled choice of pieces on offer, all of which fit beautifully into the contemporary or traditional home. Expect to see works by great artists and designers ranging from Matisse to Meissen, Cartier to Asprey, Gillow to Archibald Knox, Lalique to Warhol, as well as decorative pieces. Fine Hickmet Arts - A magnificent bronze and ivory figure "Salammbo et Matho" by Theodore Rivière inscribed ‘Carthage’ and further marked with the foundry Susse Frères. Circa 1900, height 39cms and priced at £26,500.

Burton Antiques - A Fine and rare early 19TH century Continental specimen marble-topped Centre Table, the large circular top with central Lapis lazuli roundel issuing radiating bands of marbles totalling 140 specimens,in white and green marble borders, raised on central solid tree trunk support and branches, and three carved putti emblematic of the seasons, on naturalistic shaped triangular base and wooden castors. The base 18th Century circa 1770-1780.
