ABOUT THIS FAIR:

Celebrating its 35th edition, the Bath Decorative Antiques Fair returns to the Pavilion with a host of exciting new and returning exibitors from 14-16 March 2024.

This year's fair promises to be another exceptional experience, blending history with contemporary design from dealers who save stock for this unique annual event.

Expect to see a wide range of decorative inspiration, country house furniture, art from renowned exhibitors and an array of decorative antiques for both indoor and outdoor spaces, a captivating selection of English, French and Nordic antique furniture and designs.

Exhbitors have been touring UK and Europ to find stock for this event and stands will be groaning with grand painted chateau inspired furniture, commanding statuary, cast iron urns and garden benches. Discover farmhouse tables, rustic oak furniture, intriguing architectural elements, unique salvage pieces, and diverse lighting options. An opulent mix of antique textiles, intricate needleworks, and rugs sourced globally, complemented by a collection of folk art, mirrors, early glass and English and Continental pottery will be shown by a number of regular exhibitors at this cherished event in the calendar. The Bath Decorative Antiques Fair also boasts a wide spectrum of art, ranging from period portraits to Modern & Contemporary pieces by celebrated artists.

WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS FAIR:

This leading regional decorative antiques fair will yet again create an exciting sourcing opportunity and kindle inspiration for both the antiques trade, designers and homemakers, when exhibitors will align their displays with the prevailing trend of seamlessly blending styles from different eras.

Among the popular decorative specialists at Bath are Acanthus, Chapter Two, Coach House Brocante, DJ Green Antiques, Elham Antiques, Feathered Interiors, King George Antiques, Kore Purchase, Desired by Lucifer Fitzwardo, Smith & Moon Interiors, Warehams Antiques & Interiors and Visage Gallery.  Adding a flavour of semi formal Country House antiques will be Walton House Antiques, 1923 Antiques, The Bath Chap and Olive Interiors.

Positioned at the beginning of the Spring season, Bath Decorative Antiques Fair offers much temptation for the buyers of antiques for the garden and conservatory.  Long time exhibitors Linda North Antiques, No 1 Lewes, Wharton Antiques, Skye’s Place and Elham Antiques together with recent arrivals Ludgate House Antiques and Jo's Objects of Desire are all specialists in the indoor/outdoor trend of mixing fabulous stone, glass and metal in decorative schemes.

The fair will spotlight an arrangement of fine and decorative art, showcasing the expertise of various specialists in 2024 with both new and long standing dealers. Participating in 2024 will be Granta Fine Art, Thomas Spencer Fine Art, Larkhall Fine Art, Paul Atterbury, Nick Waters Fine Art and Julian Green Art, presenting a diverse collection of artworks spanning from the 18th to the 20th century.

The Bath Decorative Antiques Fair has celebrated the folk art genre throughout 30+ years at The Pavilion, and the upcoming Spring event will welcome the return of Hiscock & Shepherd. Their impressive collection will feature a dizzying collection of items, such as samplers, paintings, early pottery, glass, and textiles.

A fine selection of rugs and textiles will also be on display including Country House carpets and rugs from Asia and the Levant, from dealers Galerie Arabesque and Rug Addiction.

Year after year, the prominence of Mid Century design has continued to rise at the Bath Decorative Antiques Fair. Particularly noteworthy in 2024 will be Not Wanted on Voyage, Mary Hossack and Nick Waters Art. Expect to see pieces from distinguished designers including furniture, lighting, wall art and accessories. Also in addition but not limited to 20th century treasures, the exquisite collection from Glass of All Ages adds to the allure of the fair.
