Antiques News & Fairs - Bath Vintage & Antiques Market 2018

Bath Vintage & Antiques Market.

ABOUT THIS FAIR:

A Bath monthly antiques and brocante market has atracted the attention of the national press and has been dubbed “A firm favorite in the West Country" by Homes & Antiques Magazine who say "Bath Vintage & Antiques Market has been running for six years now and just keeps on getting better."

Held on the last Sunday of every month and run by local go getter businesse woman Naomi Knight, the fair has built up a loyal following of  professional UK and European dealers selling a wide range of high quality antiques, vintage, art & accessories, architectural reclamation, brocante, collectors’ items, quirky and unique C20th and C21st design and provides a brilliant day out right in the centre of the Georgian City with all that the world Heritage Site city has to offer visitors.

Naomi ensures a buzzy atmosphere with music and food from a number of indie suppliers including Beyond the Kale, Wolf Wine, The Painted Flower, Green Park Cafe and Brasserie, TheBath Pizza Co, Thai Hut.

Definately a destination for those seeking something individual, ethical and green, stylish with prices that won’t break the bank. Dealers’ stands provide ideas and inspiration of how to display items at home. Many of the friendly dealers also source stock on request.

WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS FAIR:
One very happy new exhibitor for 2018, Bath Botanica Studios, owner Alys Dobie told ANF: "Born out of many years of caring and collecting houseplants, having recently moved into a new flat, I started by sharing images of how I live with and display my plants. Finding it tricky to source some of my favourites, I got in contact with some local wholesalers and wanted to see if I could sell them to other houseplant enthusiasts. The Bath Vintage Markets have been a wonderful, welcoming way to meet the public, share ideas and be a part of the community. I now have a shop window and since launching at the market I have been approached to be part of some exciting projects, including recently putting up an installation in Hunters and Sons and kitting out an office with some fun and beautiful plants. I've often attended the markets after walking past on a Sunday morning and have always enjoyed the atmosphere. Naomi and John have been brilliantly supportive and it’s been lovely to meet fellow sellers (who buy each other coffee!)."
