ABOUT THIS FAIR:
This fair is now a major attraction taking place in the Mezzanine at the prestigious Decorative Antiques & Textiles Fair Evolution purpose built marquee in Battersea Park, having outgrown its original home in Marylebone. Exhibitor numbers have more than doubled from the last event in 2016. For the first time in the fair's history, Modernist, Art Deco and contemporary carpets will also be offered. Items at the event range in price from the low thousands for antique rugs, to over £25,000 for the very finest carpets and tapestries.

WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS FAIR:

With thousands of examples of fine and decorative rugs, runners, kelims, decorative textiles and accessories. For the first time in 8 years, Modernist, art deco and contemporary carpets will also be offered alongside classic antique items

Most of the antique rugs for sale date to the late C19th and early C20th, but visitors will also find examples of exquisite woven workmanship dating back to the C16th.

A highlight of the event will be examples of opus anglicanum, the fabled English embroidery of the highest calibre, which is also the focus of a current major exhibition at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
