ABOUT THIS FAIR:

The Duncombe Park Antiques & Fine Art Fair will open its doors this September in Helmsley, North Yorkshire.

Around 35 dealers will be selling a wide range of antiques and fine art when Galloway Fairs return to the magnificent venue Duncombe Park, one of Yorkshire's foremost historic houses and estates, set in 300 acres of dramatic parkland, is and home to The Duncombe Family. Originally built in 1713 for Thomas Duncombe, in 1985, it was lovingly restored and refurbished to serve as a family home. The fair will be set out in the servants' quarters and the main state rooms.

Expect to see town and country furniture, porcelain, silver, antique and vintage jewellery, angling antiques, oriental rugs, antiquarian maps and books, clocks, glass, lighting, mirrors, antique and contemporary paintings and bronze sculpture and many decorative items to suit any home from contemporary town house to rustic cottage.

The event organisers, Galloway Antiques Fairs maintain a dateline restriction of 1970 on all of their fairs, with the exception of fine art and sculpture where no dateline applies.  All items are vetted for quality and reproductions are strictly forbidden, ensuring visitors can buy with confidence.
