Malcolm Eglin Antiques - A French early C20th tapestry, illustrating a scene picking grapes from winery with a castle in the background. Priced at £665.

A beautiful bronze study of a young fisher girl has the title "Pecheur de Crevettes". It won the award Societe de Bronze de Paris. Made Circa 1885, the sculptor was Auguste Louis Moreau, he was the younger brother of the very famous family from Dijon.

ABOUT THIS FAIR:

The popular Arley Hall Antiques & Fine Art Fair will return to Arley Hall near Northwich, bringing a fine and highly anticipated collection of antique town and country furniture, silver, glass, clocks, porcelain, maps & prints, mirrors, jewellery, vintage and decorative items, antique and contemporary fine art from C17th to modern times, all for sale.

With around 30 dealers showcasing their finest collections, the fair is perfect for avid collectors, interior designers, or enthusiasts looking for something unique and special for furnishing the home.

Arley Hall is a charming, character-filled venue for this fair, set out in a series of ground floor rooms in the Hall itself and the recently renovated Olympia Suite.

WHY YOU SHOULD VISIT THIS FAIR:

Arley Hall is a favourite venue for many of the regular dealers at the fair, including J. Dickinson (antiquarian maps and prints), Adrian Harris of Cumbria (traditional furniture from C17th - C19th), Lancaster House (clocks, porcelain and furniture), Highland Antiques (antique silver) and Amelie Caswell (Japanese works of art including Okimonu, Netsuke, Satsuma and Kutani).

New exhibitors include Hazlehurst Antiques from Kent, specialising in C19th and C20th bronze sculpture; Angela Close Antiques of North Yorkshire, who specialises in porcelain, antique and vintage jewellery, glass and silver; Jo Bennett Originals, specialising in contemporary works of art; and John Briggs from Stonehaven near Aberdeen will bring a collection of oriental rugs and carpets.

Excellent catering and free parking are available, and visitors have the opportunity to look around the gardens, amongst some of the finest in the country.
