Dawsons, based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, was established in January 2017 by Aubrey Dawson, 34, himself a member of AYG. The new company boasts a brand new, state-of-the-art sale room near the town centre, 5 minutes away from the M4 and just 30 miles from the capital.
Former AYG committee chairman, Joe has been an AYG member since 2014 and at 23 is the youngest ever president of auctioneering and valuation professional body NAVA - The National Association of Valuers and Auctioneers.

AYG Joe will be good company at Dawson's Auctioneers - in addition to owner Aubrey Dawson, office manager, jewellery specialist and AYG Lauren Schwartz, along with auctioneer, jewellery specialist and gemologist Rachel Hutchinson and Francesca Ramsay are all AYG members.
Dawson's holds monthly auctions of antiques and fine art, with sales exceeding 500 lots and growing each month. "To date we have experienced excellent results from across the board with particular interest in jewellery, silver, fine and decorative arts," comments Dawson.
The company's future plan is to offer annual specialist sales to accompany the monthly auctions. The sale room on the premises is open to the public for free valuations and consigning days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. In addition, the team hold free valuation days in locations across the county.
With regards to the move, Joe said "I'm really excited to join the team at Dawson's and look forward to contributing to their continued success, and of course to continue to learn from those around me. The use of new technology within the organisation is particularly exciting and I'm delighted to be a part of this energetic and driven new company."
"I'd like to extend an open invitation to members of AYG, NAVA and indeed everyone to come along and visit us at Dawson's, we are a friendly and passionate team and we would love to welcome you."
